Automated GTA/Plasma Welding Systems
PWT offers new and used automated welding machines, from a 4-axis bench-top
welding system to more complex systems such as the Sciaky CNC Fusion Systems (5-7 axes). We also provide powerful retrofits to extend the usefulness and life of selected automated welding equipment.
Sciaky
AcuWeld 500, 1000, & M5 Systems (refurbished, like new)
- Computer control
- Five or six axis closed loop control of the
servo axes
- All welding parameters controlled within +/- 1% of the programmed values
- Low heat input welding due to synchronized pulsation of the weld current & filler wire feed
- PWT's precise wirefeeder and specialized gas shields come installed on machine
- PWT can retrofit any of these machine's existing control with its new Advanced U-Weld control
- "PWT can retrofit any of these machines with a Stenning Custom Model MV-103XL Weld Monitoring Camera System

Three control options are available:
- Basic Control consisting of:
- Small Size PLC
- Programming of welding parameters
is accomplished via potentiometers located on a small pendant.
- Weld duration time is based on a
timer and is programmable.
- Welding can be accomplished
utilizing the X-axis or rotary axis.
- Advanced Control consisting of:
- Medium Size PLC
- Programming of welding parameters
is accomplished via a touch screen located on the operator's pendant.
- Weld current, travel speed, and
arc voltage have override adjustment.
- NC Control consisting of:
- NC Controller utilizes a DSP
processor with the control card located in the PC chassis.
- Programming of welding parameters
is accomplished via an operator console with a CRT keyboard.
- Programming is NC language.
- Operator pendant is used to start
and stop the weld program.
- Weld current, travel speed, and
arc voltage have override adjustment.
- Motorized axes jogs are provided in low speed, medium speed, high speed,
and in increments of 0.01" and 0.1"
Optional features include:
- Weld Gap Measurement
- Camera System
