Power Supplies
High precision welding power supplies for the most demanding applications
(select to see larger image)
|
PWT's GTA (TIG) and plasma welding power supplies may be used in aerospace, semiconductor, vacuum processing, medical, nuclear,
and other industries where precise, low heat input welding is required. Our units may be configured for
manual or automated applications. We can provide a complete power supply solution with a current
source, arc starter, pilot supply (for plasma welding), and welding programming console all in one
attractive enclosure - or provide separate stand-alone modules which can be integrated to your existing
welding equipment.

Current
Sources
PWT's current source technology allows the user to produce superior welds on numerous applications,
including those difficult-to-weld alloys. The CC200 unit delivers precise, repeatable control at low
amperages for welding thin cross-section material.

- 200 DC amp continuous operation (400 amp models can be provided)
- Low current ripple - less than one percent within 1 millisecond after steady state is reached
- Pure, clean output for superior welding quality
- Computer control interface for automated operation
- Welding current values programmable over a range from 1 to 200 amperes in increments of 0.1 amps
- Millisecond rise times
- Pulsation capabilities
- Programming of the weld current accomplished by a user supplied computer system that utilizes a 0 to
10VDC signal
- Accuracy of output current maintained within +/- 1% or +/- 0.5 amperes, whichever is greater, of the
programmed current
- Proven, hi-tech transistor technology
- Modular expandability for future growth
- Built sturdy and reliably
- GTAW system may be converted to a PAW system
